In most circumstances, the cost of a HACC services varies, depending on the service type. People receiving a service will be asked to contribute to the cost of the HACC service. Each service will provide information about its fees during the initial discussion of what is needed.
Fees for HACC services are determined by what the person needing a service can afford and some services are free. HACC services are cheap because they are subsidised by the Commonwealth and NSW Governments.
If people needing a service are unable to contribute they cannot be denied a service.
